V for volunteering
v. It's the first letter in volunteering. It's also the name of the independent charity championing youth volunteering in England.
Since April 2008, BREAD Youth Project has developed, promoted and celebrated these opportunities in Bristol, working with young people aged 16-25.
If you volunteer with us, you'll:
-
have access to training opportunities
-
be accredited for your activities (ASDAN short courses, V50, CVQ)
-
be supported in your role by someone whose mission it is to ensure you feel good about your v
-
make new friends
-
receive expenses for food/travel/childcare
-
feel good about yourself knowing that you're doing something of benefit to others
If you're interested in volunteering with BREAD, contact Shajila Aziz, BREAD's administrator, for more information about how we can help.
